Steps to setup an AdWords campaign

In the last session,we have discussed about PPC, but one of the visitor mailed me to give steps to setup an AdWords campaign .,As I'm completely new to Google adwords,so there can be minor mistakes bro,If so kindly correct it here, else its Cool:)

Google AdWords is Google's advertising Program in which advertisers bid on some keywords in order for their clickable ads to appear in Google's search results.

1.    First of all, you have to set up a Gmail account to create your AdWords account. When your login has been created in Google AdWords, you will be asked to name your first campaign, and then define the location for your ads to be displayed.

2.    In the second step, you have to decide your network to display your ads. Your priorities can be Google search.Google search will help you to display your ads on the search engine.

 3.    Now, you can choose the devices on which your ads should appear. After choosing the devices, you have to define your budget.

4.   Next you will need to choose the position your ads will appear on.

5.   Once your budget and ad position is set, you need to define your delivery method. Two options will appear, Standard delivery and Accelerated delivery. The standard delivery option will automatically be selected by Google. When this option is selected, Ads appearance is influenced by your defined budget. This option generally fits for small budget campaigns or the first days of any other campaigns. You can select another option, i.e., Accelerated delivery. This option shows your ads as often as possible until your budget runs out.

6.Next you can select the Ad extensions option, if you want to increase a standard text ad with one or more lines that provide extra information such as address and phone number.

7.     Next process is the Ad scheduling option. It allows you to select certain hours or days of the week when you want your Google AdWords ads to appear.

 8.    Next one is the Ad rotation option, if you have multiple ads within an ad group, as not more than one ad can be displayed at a time on Google.

9.     The last step is to create Ad groups. Each campaign is broken Ad Groups. They contain some common keywords that you group together. 10-35 keywords are needed in each ad group. When you are creating an ad group, you will need to name it first.

Hope you got an idea of how to set up an adwords campaign.:) thank you for spending your time!

A Brief Introduction about PPC Campaign

Everybody know what exactly is PPC or please refer to http://bit.ly/1f4NJVf

There are people who are not sure about the  different kinds of advertising that you can do on the Internet and paid search is one of them.So today we are  going to deal about how to structure a proper PPC campaign.

If you don't structure a campaign properly, they wont perform well.First you have your account with Google, Yahoo or Bing and with that  only you are able to create PPC campaigns. Within your PPC campaigns you have ad groups. You should note that within a campaign you should expect to see multiple ad groups, all containing different keywords. What you want to do is link up closely related keywords and put them together in an ad group. Within an ad group you've got your ad text, which should closely match the keywords that you've got within that ad group.

Important Note with an Example:
Let me say that  you want to run a PPC ad to sell Books. You'll want to put the word “free” as a negative keyword in your PPC campaign. This will stop your ad from appearing in search results with people searching for anything with the word “free” in it.
The next is your budget that you want to set for each PPC Ad.The budget is set at a campaign level – how much you can afford to pay on a daily basis. Following that, you want to set your ad word bids. These are called maximum CPCs.

*Maximum CPC- If someone clicks your ad, that click won't cost you more than the maximum cost-per-click bid (or "max. CPC") that you set. For example, if you set a $2 max. CPC bid, you'll never pay more than $2 for each click on your ad. The actual amount that you pay is called the actual CPC and is shown in your account's "Avg. CPC" column.

In the next Session,we can discuss about the importance of measuring  success of your PPC campaign.
